We are a small family run business in the village of Willingham by Stow located between Lincoln and Gainsborough. We are delighted to offer you our freshly prepared food using local produce, real ale, and newly built modern accommodation.

We have a number of beautiful landmarks surrounding our property! Lincoln is only a short drive away, and there you can visit the Lincoln Christmas Market, as well Lincoln Castle, Lincoln Cathedral of St. Mary, and The Retford Majestic Theatre.
We are just outside the market town of Gainsborough (markets days Tuesday & Saturday with the famous old hall built between 1460 and 1480 – well worth a look round)
The Lincolnshire Showground is just 12 miles away, on the A15 so we are a great base for all the varied events that take place there, such as the Lincolnshire Show (Mid-June).
If you are travelling from afar, we are only 15 miles away from Doncaster Sheffield Airport, and 21 miles away from Humberside Airport.
If you want to travel a little further you can visit the most popular landmarks, such as Clumber Park and Somerton Castle.
What We Offer
We have a number of rooms for guests to choose from!
We have the 2 Superior Double Rooms, 1 Superior Family Room, 3 Standard Twin Rooms, and 3 Standard Double Rooms.
Our most popular facilities include the Bar which has an incredible rating of 8.6 on booking.com. Outdoors we have a Sun Terrace and a Garden for our guests to sit out and relax. Inside the accommodation is non-smoking throughout, however we do have a designated smoking area. We also a family room, and facilities for any disabled guests.
All of our rooms are located on the ground floor.
Additionally, we have fun activities such as Darts and Fishing nearby, as well as FREE WIFI in ALL AREAS, and FREE parking if possible on the site (reservation is not needed).
Our Menu
Here at The Fox & Hounds Country Inn we have an impressive menu with a wide array of different starters, main courses, and desserts.
Throughout the week we have our Curry of the Day. We also have a variety of steaks from the grill, as well as seafood, pasta dishes and salads.
We also have vegetarian options as well as a childrens menu, bar snacks, including burgers, baguettes, jacket potatoes and many more.
